Three zodiac signs are ruled by the Fire element in the astrological chart, and they are the ones whose inhabitants possess a fiery and excitable personality. They are:
Leo
Sagittarius
Aries
Each of these signs has distinctive personality traits that could be described as explosive, passionate, and other fire-themed words.
The day ruler of the Fire elements is (predictably) the sun. The sun orbits the Earth, providing warmth and light to the planet. It can be said that the Fire astrological signs possess the same abilities to bring warmth, passion, and excitement to those they orbit around.
The night ruler of the Fire element is the planet Jupiter; another planet that tends to orbit around the other planets. This nighttime ruler is known for its strong and intense storms as well as the brightly colored clouds that surround the surface – fiery in its own way.
The positive traits that can be found in the Fire element astrological signs include:
The negative traits that can be found in the Fire element astrological signs include:
Like a campfire on the beach, the Fire signs want to be nurtured, respected, and leave those who come into their orbit in awe. They enjoy the company of someone who won’t back down from a good debate and someone who can match them in their passions.
Those that are considered stable and unmovable [Earth signs](https://www.cosmopolitan.com/lifestyle/a33588028/earth-signs-astrology/#:~:text=Earth%20signs%20(Taurus%2C%20Virgo%2C,stable%2C%20pragmatic%2C%20and%20unwavering.) when it comes to the elements within astrology include:
Taurus
Virgo
Capricorn
During the daytime hours, the Earth signs are ruled by Saturn – the stable planet that has been showing up in legends since the ancient eras where gods were worshipped. The larger-than-life presence that Saturn not only possesses but also commands makes this one a good fit for the Earth signs.
The nighttime hours are when the reins of control are passed from Saturn to the Moon – the other orb in the sky that governs our nighttime hours. If there wasn’t a moon orbiting the Earth, then the sun would have full reign over everything.
The positive traits that can be found in the Earth element astrological signs include:
The negative traits that can be found in the Earth element astrological signs include:
Those that are born under the Earth sign will find themselves craving stability and security in their relationships. They don’t enjoy drama or manipulation so if you can show them you are loyal and committed to making a relationship work? Then you will have piqued their interest.
Water is one of the sustaining elements on the planet with it being one of the main sources of nutrients. Fluid, changing, but also grounded – the following astrological signs are considered water:
Pisces
Cancer
Scorpio
Water is ruled by Jupiter in the daytime hours which is quite fitting when you think of the intense storm clouds that cover Jupiter. These storm clouds are full of water, making it the perfect ruler for the fluid but intense water signs.
Mars takes up the position of the ruler during those nighttime hours and the unpredictable but beautiful planet ensures that those born under the Water sign maintain their artistic nature.
The positive traits that can be found in the Water element astrological signs include:
The negative traits that can be found in the Water element astrological signs include:
When looking to win over the Water astrological signs, you want to show them that you are loyal and can provide the security in their life that they want (and need). Allowing them to fully be themselves without judgment and encouraging them to follow their intuition, dreams, and goals will endear you greatly to the Water signs.
The signs ruled under the unpredictable, life-sustaining, season-changing and invisible but always present element of air include:
Gemini
Air shares a ruler with the Earth astrological signs, meaning that Saturn makes its second appearance on this list in terms of the daytime hours. The ever-changing planet is always in motion, making it a fitting royal for those Air signs.
Mercury, however, is what those born under Air astrological signs will worship and turn to for guidance during those invisible struggles when you are surging to explode into action.
The positive traits that can be found in the Air element astrological signs include:
The negative traits that can be found in the Air element astrological signs include:
When winning over those Air astrological signs, you want to show them that you appreciate a good adventure as well and that you are strong enough to withstand their energy. Bring new ideas to the table for weekend jaunts and always be game for anything.
The four naturally occurring elements that are found in the world – fire, earth, water, and air – have always had a place in folklore and in the supernatural world so it should come as no surprise that the elements have a major association with the astrological community. These elements are the basis for life in all forms, it’s the basis for the things that keep life going, and it’s the basis for the world at large.
