Cookie Policy

Effective July 31, 2026

This policy explains how Authority Astrology uses cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies. These technologies help the service remember information in your browser, maintain secure sessions and understand how the service is used.

1. Strictly necessary technologies

We use an HTTP-only account-session cookie to keep you signed in and protect authenticated features. It is set only after sign-in, uses SameSite protection, and normally lasts up to 30 days unless you sign out earlier. Because it is required to provide an account you request, it cannot be disabled through our analytics control.

We also use browser storage for essential or requested functions, including an anonymous journey identifier, checkout and chart continuity, recovery of a result you chose to save, analytics preferences, chart display preferences, and the identifier for a push subscription you enabled. Some entries last only for the browser tab or session; others remain until they expire, are replaced, or you clear browser data.

Our Sentry error-reporting integration is used to diagnose service failures. It does not set an Authority Astrology analytics preference, and Sentry session replay is disabled. Diagnostic events are configured to exclude cookies, request bodies, headers, query strings, user profiles, AI content and birth details.

2. Product analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand product journeys and improve the platform. Analytics begins automatically under our applicable legal basis and this notice. Events may include page or feature context, device category, offer context, broad campaign attribution and a pseudonymous identifier.

We do not include names, email addresses, birth details, locations, coordinates, chart content or questions in analytics events. Our copy of journey events is retained for no more than 400 days.

3. Marketing cookies

Google Ads, Meta and Pinterest advertising measurement begins automatically unless you opt out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Hashed-email conversion matching also begins automatically and can be disabled separately below. The normalized one-way hash is not stored in our analytics delivery records and is never sent to Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity.

4. Payment and embedded services

Checkout may load secure payment fields from Stripe or NMI. Those providers may use strictly necessary technologies to prevent fraud, process a payment and maintain checkout security under their own privacy and cookie notices. Browser push notifications are delivered through the push service associated with your browser or device after you grant device permission.

5. Your browser controls

You can block or delete cookies and site data using browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent sign-in, checkout, saved-chart access, preferences or other requested features from working. Clearing site data also clears your choices, returning measurement categories to their automatic defaults. We honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of advertising storage and advertising data sharing.

6. Contact and changes

Questions may be sent to [email protected]. We will update the effective date when this policy or the technologies we use materially change.
