Run this as a timed checklist, not a mood. You have two weeks before the station and one clean pass after it.
Sunday, October 11 to Friday, October 16: list the outstanding message, ask or agreement, one line each. Do not edit anything yet. The unresolved items are already visible — you have been circling them for weeks. Write them down before you polish them.
Saturday, October 17 to Wednesday, October 21: give each item one fact pass. Check names, figures, dates, what you actually promised. Mercury stops at 20.9790° Scorpio on October 24, so anything typed in this window still goes out under direct motion. Correct the numbers now, while corrections are cheap.
Thursday, October 22 to Friday, October 23: one terms pass. What does the message commit you to? Strip the generous extras that creep in when you want to sound accommodating. Ask a plain question of each draft: if the reader says yes to exactly these words, can I live with it through mid-November?
Here is what earns a sixth draft. Suppose your fifth version says: "I can cover the deposit this week, and we can settle the rest whenever it suits you." The fact pass catches nothing wrong — the deposit is real. The terms pass catches everything. "Whenever it suits you" hands the timeline to someone else and quietly commits you to an open-ended wait. The sixth draft says: "I can cover the deposit this week. The rest is due by November 30 — tell me now if that date doesn't work." Same warmth, one changed term, one named date. That is a rewrite worth making. A sixth draft that softens "by November 30" into "soon" is avoidance in a friendlier font.
The boundary text follows the same rule. "I need some space this week" that turns into "let's talk soon, whenever you're ready" in draft six has lost the fact that made it a boundary. Keep the week. Name the date you will talk.
October 24 to November 13: the judgment call. If the sixth draft changes a fact or a term — a date, an amount, who owes what, when you will respond — it earns the rewrite. If it only softens the tone, you are hiding. Send the version that tells the truth about what you want and what it costs, and let the reply arrive in its own time.
The Aries rule holds the line: one pass for facts, one for terms, then send. A message held for six weeks is not being perfected. It is being avoided with better grammar.
If the item is a message to someone, and the only blocker is fear of their reaction, marshal the Sun–Venus honesty you found in early Scorpio and send it before the station. You will not get a cleaner window than this one.
