Almost every Scorpio-season guide hands you four or five signs. The calculated sky here supports two. That is not caution — it is the degree rule, and it is the reason your own chart either qualifies or does not.
Scorpio leads because Mercury itself stops at 20.98° Scorpio, with Venus at 0.66° and the Sun at 0.89° in the same sign. Scorpio holds the most activated bodies, and it holds them in two distinct bands. A Scorpio Sun, Moon, rising sign, Mercury or Venus sitting near 21° takes the Mercury freeze directly: contracts, messages, the written version. One sitting near 0°–7° takes the slower Venus review: value, money, attachment. If your placement sits in both bands, you run the full cycle through late November.
Aries follows because of a single tight contact. The Moon lands at 6.41° Aries and conjoins retrograde Saturn at 9.80° Aries — a 3.39° orb, the closest body-to-body link in the station chart. Saturn retrograde in Aries asks what you are still propping up out of obligation. Expect the sober question to arrive without warning: what have you quietly agreed to keep, and is it worth the cost?
That same Aries cluster is why the shortlist stops at two. Mercury's station does form wide squares to Mars in Leo and Jupiter in Leo, but no supplied body sits near 20.98° Leo or Aquarius, and no body opposes the station from Taurus. Taurus, Leo and Aquarius placements square or oppose the degree, yet the calculations place nothing there to carry the activation. Those signs stay off the list because the evidence is thin, not because their seasons are quieter.
The honest rule: your sign is on the shortlist only if a calculated body sits inside those windows. To check your own, enter your birth date, exact birth time and birth location into the transit chart calculator and set the target date to October 24, 2026.
One limit matters here. Houses and angles require a birth time. If you do not know yours, the calculator cannot place the station in a house for you, so work from your Sun, Moon and known planet degrees instead. That still tells you whether the station touches your chart.
If it does, the personal implication is concrete. For late-degree Scorpio placements, the document with a signature or an auto-renewal clause is the one to re-read before anyone countersigns. For early-degree Scorpio placements, the money or attachment figure is the one to name out loud before you recommit. For Aries placements touched by the Moon-Saturn conjunction, the obligation you keep absorbing quietly is the one to price.
The last question the shortlist raises is practical, not symbolic. Once you know the station touches your chart, which pages actually need a second pass — and which ones are you simply anxious about because the word retrograde is in the air?
