The South Node in astrology represents our past, our comfort zone, and the traits we are naturally inclined to rely on. It's what we've mastered in past lives or earlier in our current life. The Midheaven, on the other hand, represents our public image, our career, and our reputation. It's the highest point in our natal chart and signifies our aspirations and what we strive for in life.

These are questions that are also relevant when considering the Midheaven conjunct Descendant aspect.
